Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 km), Drive by bus/car or fly. Afternooon sight seeing.
After Breakfast at your Hotel in Pokhara, take a private car to Nayapul. It is about 1:30 hours to get there. We start our trekking from Nayapul. During the hike, we pass many local villages, teahouses, gentle green rolling hills, rivers and local people. After crossing the Tikhedunga Khola on the suspension bridge, the trail begins to climb up quite steeply on a stone staircase that is more than 3200 steps. After climbing the hill we can see Mt. Annapurna south (7219m.) and Hiunchuli (6441m.).
Today ,the trail crosses the Tikhedunga River on a suspension bridge, then drops and crosses the Bhurungdi Khola on a large bridge at 1520m. The trail ascends on a stone staircase that is said to have more than 3300 steps. The unrelenting staircase continues to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080m). Then continue trekking and you will have the lunch at Nangathanti. In winter, the trail here can be covered with snow.
You will wake up before dawn to make the early-morning excursion to the top of Poon Hill (3210m), one of the best Himalaya viewpoints in Nepal, provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. The spectacular panorama stretches from Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiuchhuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). Gangapurna (7454m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and the Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre 6997m) make your breath and eyes caught. Watching the beautiful sunrise is a defining moment with lots of pleasure and tranquility.
It is a 3hrs of easy walk through forest which will take us to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the large Gurung village. We can get striking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli and other Mountains from viewpoint in Ghandruk. Homestay in Ghandruk is a pleasant experience.
Today you will lower down through the scenic route with views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail and Gangapurna Mountains and reach Nayapul. From there you will take private vehicle and reach Pokhara in an hour.
Enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. You will have the lunch on the way. Trek will end at Naya Pul where we board our vehicle to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
It’s worth spending one more day at Pokhara, one of the most popular touristic destinations of Nepal. You will spend the entire day exploring the major attractions of the city. Early in the morning, drive up to Sarangkot to catch the beautiful sunrise views. After spending little time at Sarangkot, return back to Pokhara and visit Bindhawasini Temple, Bat Cave, Mahendra Cave, Davis’ Falls. And have fantastic time boating at Phewa Lake as well. If time allows, you can go for shopping in Pokhara.
Drive back to Kathmandu. Once you are back to Kathmandu, spend your time for shopping or exploring around the city. Join the Farewell dinner with the team in the evening.
Your last day in Kathmandu! You can either continue your new trip to some other destination or just take the returning flight back to your home town. We will accompany you to the airport.
